The Finglas Youth Resource Centre (FYRC) is a community based Youth Service in Finglas. FYRC is an independent locally managed CLG with a Board of Management comprising of local community representatives and other service providers. We are now seeking to employ a skilled, dynamic worker for the following post;
Youth Employability Support Worker (Part-Time)
This Youth Employability Role aims to support young people aged 15 to 24 years who are out of education/training/employment or who are in education but the fit isn’t working for them and they are experiencing difficulties.
The role will involve identifying, engaging & mentoring young people through the transition phases of their lives; it will support young people to develop the skills they need, through the provision of an individualised response to progress into employment or further education/training and to support them to remain in the course/job.
The role involves a multidisciplinary approach that will draw on the pre-existing internal resources of the Finglas Youth Resource Centre as well as the extended resources and supports within the young person’s community.
